PRODUCT DONATIONS

Project Teacher collects new and reusable school, office, and art supplies, as well as books, games, and other learning materials suitable for classrooms. Please follow these steps when making a donation to Project Teacher:


  1. Make sure we accept what you have - check out the lists below of items we accept and do not accept. 
  2. Organize your donation in a box or bag that you can leave with us. Please ensure that the items are clean andin good condition, suitable for a classroom. Musty, dirty or unusable items will not be accepted. 
  3. Please contact us before you bring your items. 
  4. If you want, we will give you a tax receipt for your records. 

ITEMS WE ACCEPT

Project Teacher needs product donations year round to keep the shelves of the Free Store stocked for kids in need. By providing core products, surplus office products, and classroom supplies you can help us keep the desks of our students full.

Paper, Pencils, Crayons, Markers, Glue Bottles, Glue Sticks, Dry Erase Markers, Pens, Colored Pencils, Pink Erasers, Pencil Cap Erasers, Pocket Folders, Loose Leaf Paper, Spiral Notebooks, Composition Books, Scissors, Rulers, Compasses, Calculators, Highlighters, Permanent Markers, and Erasers. 


SURPLUS OFFICE PRODUCTS

Colored Paper, Tape, Tape Dispensers, Paper Clips, Binder Clips, Copy Paper, Letterhead, Staplers, Staples, Scissors, Hole Punches, Erasers, Rulers, Rubberbands, Stamps, Promotional Products


CLASSROOM ITEMS

Children's books, Teacher Resource/Curriculum books (2005 and newer), Bulletin Board supplies, arts and craft supplies, holiday/party items, 

ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT

Some things are just not meant for Project Teacher or classrooms. Please find creative ways to reuse or recycle these items at home or donate them to another reuse organization. Project Teacher is NOT ACCEPTING the following items:

• Legal-sized hanging file folders

• Individual stacking trays/desk organizers

• Rolodexes

• Furniture

• Computers/Printers

• Technology accessories

• Dictionary/Encyclopedia sets

• Outdated teaching materials/workbooks/photocopied materials

• handmade products
